Disney+'s original series The Manipulated unveils Ji Chang Wook's stills.

The Manipulated is an action drama that follows Tae Jung (Ji Chang Wook), an ordinary man who gets wrongfully imprisoned for a heinous crime, only to discover that everything was orchestrated by Yo Han (Doh Kyung Soo). He then sets out to take revenge on him.

Ji Chang Wook plays Park Tae Jung, a man whose life has been shattered to pieces. Tae Jung is a diligent, ordinary young man who never wastes a single day, working hard while pursuing his dreams. But one day, he becomes entangled in a brutal crime and ends up behind bars. Having lost everything and barely managing to endure prison life, he eventually realizes that someone had deliberately framed him and vows to take revenge.

The newly released stills draw sharp contrast between Tae Jung's peaceful days — working hard toward his dream — and his devastating collapse after being imprisoned. His expression, burning with rage, and his piercing eyes, sharply observing his surroundings after learning that the horrifying misfortune was all part of someone's scheme, heighten curiosity about whether he will succeed in his revenge.

Ji Chang Wook commented, "Tae Jung is someone who runs relentlessly, with revenge as his only goal. I approached the role with the thought that he progresses through different stages. You can see how he grows stronger and more cold-hearted step by step."

Director Park Shin Woo praised him, saying, "Actor Ji Chang Wook enhanced the realism of the character and breathed life into it with his passion and energy. I even think that one day people might say, 'Ji Chang Wook himself is a genre.'"

The Manipulated will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on November 5 with four episodes, followed by two episodes each week, for a total of 12 episodes.
