JTBC unveils Park Jin Young's stills from 'Shining'

JTBC drops stills from Shining, featuring Park Jin Young.

Shining follows the journey of young people who once shared a world of their own as they become each other's source of trust and light, guiding each other's lives.

Park Jin Young plays Yeon Tae Seo, a subway train operator. Tae Seo is a realistic man who focuses on living each day diligently, rather than chasing vague dreams or an empty future. 

Tae Seo's daily routine — starting each morning by calmly taking stock of the tasks he has to do in the day — is steady, neat, and immaculate, like a subway train that never strays from its fixed track.

However, even Yeon Tae Seo — who, on the outside, doesn't seem like the sentimental type — has one memory that softens his heart. At the age of nineteen, when an unexpected tragedy shattered his world, the time he spent with Mo Eun Ah (played by Kim Min Ju) remained with him as a bright, shining memory of youth.

One can't help but wonder what those dark yet still bright days were like for the nineteen-year-old Yeon Tae Seo, and what Mo Eun Ah means to him now that he is thirty.

The newly released stills give a glimpse of the youthful Yeon Tae Seo at nineteen and Yeon Tae Seo at thirty.

The nineteen-year-old Yeon Tae Seo, on a bicycle, has bright eyes that carry the spark of youth. In contrast, the thirty-year-old  — now a subway train operator — stepping into the station for work, gives off a more mature aura.

Shining will premiere on March 6. News about its global OTT is yet to come.
