Jung Ho Yeon appeared at the ceremony as a global ambassador for Louis Vuitton, becoming the first Korean actor to take part in an official event at a FIFA World Cup final. Although BTS had previously been announced as the performers at the halftime show, Jung Ho Yeon's appearance had been kept under wraps, making her surprise participation one of the event's standout moments.
