Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
The upcoming film The First Ride is set to hit theaters next month!
On September 12, the distribution company Showbox released the official poster of The First Ride, confirming that the film will be released in Korean theaters on October 29.
The First Ride will tell the story of four longtime friends who embark on their first overseas trip as they turn 30, leading to a series of unexpected events.
The upcoming film will be the next work of director Nam Dae Joong. He is known for creating the movies Love Reset, Homme Fatale, and The Last Ride.
Kang Ha Neul, ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo, Kim Young Kwang, Kang Young Seok, and SECRET's Han Sun Hwa will lead the upcoming film.
The newly released poster showed the five main actors and hints at their great chemistry. The poster's caption, “The five guys who are more fun when they’re together are taking off!” suggests the film will be a fun ride centered on their group.
Kang Ha Neul will portray the role of Tae Jeong, the obsessed one in the group. He will focus on only one thing when he gets hooked on something, just as he did when he aced and topped the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).
Cha Eun Woo will play the role of Yeon Min, a handsome man whose dream is to become a world-class DJ. Kim Young Kwang will be Do Jin, the bright and unstoppable one. Kang Young Seok, on the other hand, will be Geum Bok, who doesn't like studying, so he has mastered the art of sleeping with his eyes open. Lastly, Han Sun Hwa will give life to the character named Ok Sim, a girl whose dream is to become a student at Seoul National University. She is also in love with Tae Jeong.
