Kang Tae Oh, Kim Se Jeong, Lee Shin Young, Hong Soo Joo, and Jin Goo's MBC historical drama The Moon Flows over the River confirms premiere date.

The Moon Flows over the River tells the story of a crown prince who has lost his smile and a merchant who has lost part of her memories, as their souls get swapped, unleashing chaos.
Kang Tae Oh takes on the role of Crown Prince Lee Kang, who is serving as regent. On the outside, Lee Kang appears decadent and self-indulgent, but hidden within is a deep wound of having lost a loved one due to power struggles inside the palace. Enduring in silence the heavy burden of being heir to the throne, he dreams of one day seizing the chance for revenge.

Kim Se Jeong takes on the role of Park Dal Yi, a merchant. Having lost part of her past memories, Park Dal Yi has blended seamlessly into the life of a merchant with her extraordinary adaptability, always selling out her goods.

Lee Shin Young takes on the role of Prince Lee Woon, Crown Prince Lee Kang's cousin. Though he has accepted reality without any desire to reclaim his position, he is constantly under surveillance for having once been the former king's eldest son.

Hong Su Zu comes as Kim Woo Hee, the woman fated to live like a puppet of her family despite being the most beautiful and intelligent in Joseon. Rather than inheriting the glory of her clan, she harbors the ambition to claim the highest position in Joseon for the life she desires.

Jin Goo takes on the role of Kim Han Cheol, a man of absolute power regarded as the "one above the king." Possessing burning ambition, Kim Han Cheol is a ruthless schemer who even uses his own daughter in his pursuit to claim Joseon for himself.

The Moon Flows over the River will premiere on October 31. News about the K-drama's global OTT is yet to come. Stay tuned!
