The production team of JTBC's upcoming weekend drama Heavenly Ever After released a fourth teaser.
Heavenly Ever After follows Lee Hae Suk (Kim Hye Ja), who arrives in heaven at the age of 80 and embarks on a dynamic journey, starting a second life at what seemed to be the end of her first.
The fourth teaser begins with a different tone than the previous ones, depicting the gruesome and horrifying hell, worse than death itself.
People plummet into boiling lava, their figures flickering in the infernal glow. In the background, their harrowing screams of agony and regret echo, heightening the horror. And at that very moment, as rough hands grab hold of her from the cliff beneath her feet, Lee Hae Sook lets out a short scream and awakens from the terrifying nightmare.
Just as the Director of the Heaven Support Center (Cheon Ho Jin) remarks, "Even Hae Sook herself wondered. Does she truly deserve to be in heaven?" — her days are filled with constant doubt and unease.
Meanwhile, as scenes unfold of people facing judgment for their sins and punishments, the Director of the Heaven Support Center's voice amplifies the fear: "A prison of my own making, built upon irredeemable mistakes, where the door of forgiveness does not even exist."
As Go Nak Joon's desperate calls fade into the distance, the door of a mysterious train carrying Lee Hae Sook shuts tightly.
Is Lee Hae Sook an unqualified stowaway in heaven? And where is this train taking her?
Heavenly Ever After is set to premiere this April. News about the K-drama's global OTT service is yet to come. Watch the teaser here.
