
Kim Hye Yoon is possibly returning to the big screen after three years.
On April 8, media outlets reported that Kim Hye Yoon would lead the upcoming film A Place to Kill.
Kim Hye Yoon's agency, Artist Company, responded to the casting reports. According to them, A Place to Kill was one of the works that was offered to the actress. She is currently reviewing the film, and nothing has been decided yet.
A Place to Kill is a story rooted in the actual location of Salmokji Reservoir, a place where chilling events occurred.
Kim Hye Yoon got the offer to portray the role of the main lead> No other details about her character have been revealed yet.
The upcoming film will be the next work of The Lamp, the same producer of the hit movie Samjin Company English Class. Showbox will distribute the film.
Reports indicate that filming for A Place to Kill will begin later this year. The film's release date has not yet been disclosed.
A Place to Kill will possibly be Kim Hye Yoon's grand return to the movie scene. She last starred in the 2022 film Ditto alongside Yeo Jin Goo, Cho Yi Hyun, Na In Woo, Bae In Hyuk, and Noh Jae Won.
Last year, Kim Hye Yoon led the hit K-drama Lovely Runner with Byeon Woo Seok, Song Geon Hee, N.Flying's Lee Seung Hyub, Jung Young Joo, and Sung Byung Sook.
Her follow-up K-drama project is the new SBS series Human from Today, which is a fantasy rom-com. She will pair up with Lomon in the upcoming series.
Kim Hye Yoon will also star in the upcoming webtoon-based series The Year We Turned 29 with Red Velvet's Joy.
