Kim Sae Ron's family lawyer presented their side and more evidence on her relationship with Kim Soo Hyun when she was a minor at a press conference.
On March 27, the legal representative of Kim Sae Ron's family, attorney Boo Ji Suk of Law Firm Buyou, held a press conference at Space Share, Gangnam Station, in Seocho-dong, Seoul. The legal representative decided to speak on behalf of the family, who were experiencing severe anxiety and could not appear in public.
They revealed a 2016 private conversation between Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun as evidence of their relationship when she was a minor.
Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun exchanged messages containing "I miss you," "I want to hug you," and sweet emoticons. Additionally, Kim Sae Ron's family released a personal letter she attempted to send Kim Soo Hyun after her second certification of contents in 2024.
Kim Sae Ron's letter expressed her desire to resolve misunderstandings and her inability to reach her former agency, Gold Medalist. She also stated, "We dated for 5-6 years without me realizing. You were my first and last love, and because of that, I don't want you to avoid me." She also wished him well and hoped they could be two people who cheer each other on.
Adding to this, Kim Sae Ron's family has made it clear they will be suing YouTuber Lee Jin Ho for his continuous invasion of the actress's privacy and the spread of misinformation. Moreover, Kim Sae Ron's family has expressed that they have no desire to be involved in any more pointless arguments about what happened after today's press conference.
