Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
Kim So Hyun and Choo Young Woo are confirmed to lead the youth romance K-drama Love Doctor.
On December 1, ENA officially confirmed that Kim So Hyun and Choo Young Woo are the main leads of the upcoming K-drama Love Doctor which will premiere in 2026.
Love Doctor will be the newest project of director Ahn Pan Seok, who is best known for creating the romance K-dramas The Midnight Romance in Hagwon, One Spring Night, and Something in the Rain. The K-drama will revolve around the romance of a former swimmer who lost his leg to illness and a woman who, after leaving medical school, began a new career as a graduate student.
The upcoming K-drama will have a total of 12 episodes. It will be part of the Monday and Tuesday K-drama timeslot of ENA.
Love Doctor will premiere in 2026 and will exclusively air on ENA and Genie TV.
Kim So Hyun will give life to the character named Im Yu Jin, a graduating student struggling with her future. After she exposes an injustice, she is labeled a troublemaker and blocked from pursuing graduate studies. After meeting Park Min Jae, she get to know the worlf of robotics.
The actress commented, "I am excited and honor to be part of the new work directed by Ahn Pan Seok. Im Yu Jin's charm also made me want to do Love Doctor. I will do my best to show the viewers my highest quality work and best self."
Choo Young Woo will play the role of Park Min Jae, a man who lost his promising swimming career and his left leg to osteosarcoma. After hitting rock bottom, he discovers a new purpose in robotics. Four years of dedication pay off when he is accepted into the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Seoul National University. He hides his sensitivity behind a nonchalant facade, but he's actually just a simple guy who has dating on his bucket list.
The actor shared, "I am honored to join the new project by Director Ahn Pan Seok, whom I deeply admire. I am focusing on the preparations for this project. Working with a grat script, actors, and crew, I'm excited to bring Park Min Jae to life. I look forward to your interest."
