The TVING original series Dear X is coming this November.

Dear X tells the story of Baek Ah Jin (Kim You Jung), a woman who, having endured domestic violence in childhood, wears a mask to hide her emotions and escape a hellish life, and climbs to the top by manipulating people. 

Hitmaker Lee Eung Bok (School 2013Descendants of the SunGuardian: The Lonely and Great GodMr. Sunshine) and Park So Hyun helmed the K-drama, with he script from writer Choi Ja Won, who won the Grand Prize in the 2018 KBS script contest. Based on a globally popular webtoon of the same name, the series has been drawing buzz even ahead of its release.

Kim You Jung plays Baek Ah Jin, a woman who wears a mask to survive. Baek is a top actress who has climbed to the highest peak by overcoming the multiple layers of scars from her childhood. Armed with a piercing insight that sees straight through others, she always gets what she wants.  

Kim Young Dae plays Yun Jun Seo, a man who believes he can save Baek Ah Jin. Having stayed by her side his entire life, Yun Jun Seo is both her only refuge and her most fatal Achilles' heel. Willing to wade through any mire for her sake, he is a character who destroys everything he once stood for. 

Kim Do Hoon takes on the role of Kim Jae Oh, whose life's purpose shifts with just one word from Baek Ah Jin. Having endured abuse from his father since childhood, Kim Jae Oh finds a reason to live after meeting Baek Ah Jin, who suffered the same pain. Willingly becoming her shadow, he's a dangerously faithful man who stays by her side in a way entirely different from Yun Jun Seo.  

Dear X is set to premiere this November. News about the K-drama's global OTT is yet to come.
