Pump Up the Healthy Love has been confirmed to premiere on April 30.

The upcoming Wednesday-Thursday KBS2 drama Pump Up the Healthy Love follows Do Hyeon Jung, a vigorous fitness enthusiast, correcting the lives of novice gym members.

In the K-drama, Lee Jun Young takes on the role of Do Hyeon Jung, a fitness fanatic who finds himself in charge of an old gym after rising to bodybuilding fame. Born with a frame smaller than a 1.5kg dumbbell, Hyeon Jung defied the odds and turned his life around through sheer dedication to fitness. After winning first place at the Mr. David competition — a dream for bodybuilders — he just disappears, only to reemerge as the owner of a neighborhood gym.

Jung Eun Ji returns as Lee Mi Ran, a "muscle-less" novice gym member. After a breakup, she unexpectedly enters a gym and decides to put her trust in Hyeon Jung, who promises to transform both her health and her life.

Lee Mi Do and Lee Seung Woo come as Rosa and Alex, employees of the gym. Rosa is the gym's old-timer and is adept at handling its demanding members. Seeing Hyeon Jung, the new owner, as an uninvited guest, she keeps him in check with a watchful eye. On the other hand, Alex, the gym's mascot, becomes a devoted follower of Hyeon Jung.

Park Sung YunLee Ji Hye, and Hong Yoon Hwa will star as the gym's very own "Witch Trio." Park Sung Yun transforms into Im Seong Im, the leader of the trio and a troublemaker. Lee Ji Hye and Hong Yoon Hwa take on the roles of Yoon Boo Young and Park Dool Hee, each bringing their own bold personalities to the mix as Seong Im's right and left hands. Having grown close through their time at the gym, the three women support each other like real sisters.

Pump Up the Healthy Love is set to premiere on April 30. News about the K-drama's global OTT platform is yet to come.
