Park Ji Hoon on how his 'Weak Hero Class 2' character is quite similar to him
The upcoming historical action blockbuster Rebirth has unveiled its first trailer, giving a sneak peek into the actor's passionate performances, the C-drama's stunning cinematography, and its grand scale.
Rebirth follows Chu Qiao, a slave girl, who is rescued by Yan Xun, the heir of Yanbei. She forms an alliance with him, but later learns she was just a pawn in his game to kill off General Zhuge Yue. As ambitions collide and trust is broken, she becomes entangled in a web of political intrigue and the pursuit of justice. Amidst chaos and sacrifice, she emerges as a beacon of hope, determined to defend her people and homeland.
The trailer opens with Chu Qiao (Huangyang Tian Tian) saying, "Since I woke up at the frozen lake, I've been feeling like there's something I don't remember. I'd like to go there and take a look."
The following scenes hint at a conspiracy involving Zhuge Yue (Li Yun Rui).
Then a voiceover says, "General Zhuge's martial skills and intellect are truly worthy of his reputation," and what follows is a bleak scene of countless dead bodies.
Another voiceover says, "Everyone knows you led twenty Moon Guards against Prince Yan's tens of thousands of Black Eagles," hinting at a deep political turmoil among the power figures.
Yan Xun tells Chu, "Chu, I've made a lot of enemies since I've been ruling Northern Yan. Everyone wants me dead," seemingly trying to manipulate her.
But Chu emerges strong and resilient, joining hands with like-minded people to put an end to all wars and protect her people.
Rebirth also stars Xia Meng (Parallel World), Li Xiao Qian, and Li Meng (The Double), among others.
