Lim Yoon A has been offered the lead role in the Korean remake of the Japanese drama Unnatural.
On May 9, a representative from SM Entertainment told Ilgan Sports, "Yoon A has received an offer to star in Unnatural and is positively reviewing it."
Originally aired on Japan's TBS Television in 2018, Unnatural is a mystery medical drama about a forensic pathologist who uncovers the truth behind suspicious deaths. The series gained popularity in Korea as a well-made drama thanks to its strong script and the cast's performances.
At the 96th Television Drama Academy Awards in Japan, the drama swept six awards, including Best Drama, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Screenplay, Best Director, and Best OST. The Korean will reportedly be directed by Park Yoo Young of The Kidnapping Day.
