On May 21, the production team of the drama Evidence officially announced the start of filming. The series is directed by Wu Bai and penned by Chen Yu Xin. It stars Sun Hong Lei, Liu Yu Ning, Han Dong Jun, Zhang Zi Xian, and Wang Jin Song, among others.
According to Tencent Video's description, the story of Evidence begins in 2008. Han Yong Qiang (Sun Hong Lei), the chauffeur of local administrative committee director Li Xue Dong, experiences a turning point in his life after starting a family with Li Xue Dong's mistress.
He navigates the fine line between power and organized crime, gradually becoming an "underworld boss" whose empire is built on blood ties and shared interests.
Led by criminal detective Gao Yuan (Liu Yu Ning), the anti-crime task force operates under heavy obstruction from layers of corruption and interference from powerful forces, ultimately dismantling the criminal organization and the officials shielding it through their steadfast belief in the truth.
