Oh Jung Se transforms into a superhuman in High Five.
High Five is a comic action film about five ordinary people who gain superpowers after getting organ transplants. They face off against those who are after them for their abilities.
In the K-movie, Oh Jung Se comes to play a doting father.
Jong Min, a former Taekwondo national team player who played at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, now runs a small local Taekwondo studio, struggling to make ends meet.
However, he becomes a fearless Taekwondo V dad when it comes to his daughter, Wan Seo (Lee Jae In). After Wan Seo receives a heart transplant due to her illness, Jong Min can't stop worrying about her. As Wan Seo returns home late and starts lying more and more, Jong Min is consumed with anxiety, fearing that she might be facing bullying.
Oh Jung Se shared, "I tried to make it look like a lovely father-daughter relationship, not like overprotectiveness from the father."
Director Kang Hyung Chul introduced Jong Min as "a non-superpowered person who possesses the greatest superpower in High Five."
Along with this, Lee Jae In, who plays Oh Jung Se's on-screen daughter, commented, "He took care of me like a real dad on set. I also called him 'dad' and relied on him a lot."
High Five is premiering on June 3.
