Oh Yeon Seo will reportedly join the star-studded tvN K-drama Mean Love.
On March 20, media outlets reported that Oh Yeon Seo's follow-up K-drama project will be Mean Love.
Oh Yeon Seo''s agency Story J Company confirmed the reports and stated that the actress will be part of the cast.
This will be the first K-drama project of Oh Yeon Seo for the year. In 2024, Oh Yeon Seo led The Player 2: Master of Swindlers alongside Song Seung Heon, Tae Won Seok, Lee Si Eon, Jang Gyu Ri, and Ha Do Gwon.
Oh Yeon Seo started her acting career in 2003. She is known for being part of the K-dramas Café Minamdang, Mad for Each Other, Love with Flaws, A Korean Odyssey, Please Come Back, Mister, Come! Jang Bo Ri, and more.
Mean Love will tell the romance between an actor who usually portrays detective roles but is eager to star in a romance genre, and a former reporter for politics and now working as an entertainment journalist.
Lee Jung Jae, Im Ji Yeon, Kim Ji Hoon, Seo Ji Hye, Choi Gwi Hwa, and Kim Hyun Jin will lead the upcoming K-drama.
Oh Yeon Seo will play the character named Kwon Se Na. She was Im Hyeon Jun's (Lee Jung Jae's character) first love. She is also known as a top star and called the "Hallyu Goddess." She abandoned Im Hyeon Jun in the past but reappeared in front of him again after several years.
Director Kim Ga Ram (Good Partner, Nevertheless, and Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency) and writer Jung Yeo Rang (Doctor Cha) will work together to create the upcoming K-drama.
