Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
Ong Seong Wu has reportedly chosen his first project after being discharged from his mandatory military service.
On July 15, industry insiders reported that Ong Seong Wu will lead the upcoming KBS Drama Special Love Track, which will premiere in the second half of this year.
Love Track will be a 10-episode K-drama, with each episode lasting 30 minutes. It's set to explore various love stories, and Ong Seong Wu will feature in one of these, specifically focusing on a first love story.
This will be the first K-drama project of Ong Seong Wu after two years. The idol-actor enlisted in the military in April 2023 and was discharged from the military in October last year. He was last seen in the K-drama Strong Girl Namsoon alongside Lee You Mi, Kim Jung Eun, Kim Hae Sook, Ong Seong Wu, Byeon Woo Seok, and Park Young Tak.

Ong Seong Wu became known to the public after appearing on the survival program Produce 101 Season 2 and becoming part of the final group. He debuted as one of the eleven members of the temporary group Wanna One in 2017, which disbanded in 2019. He then started his acting career in 2019, and the following year, he also debuted as a solo artist.
The idol-actor is known for being part of the works, Would You Like a Cup of Coffee?, More Than Friends, Moment at Eighteen, Life Is Beautiful, Seoul Vibe, and more.
Aside from K-dramas, Ong Seong Wu is also set to return to the big screen with the upcoming films Jung Family's Farm (starring alongside Ryu Seung Ryong, Park Hae Joon, Jung Suk Yong, Lee Sang Hee, and Jeon Seok Ho) and Starlight Is Falling (Esom, Shim Eun Kyung, Yang Dong Geun, and Yeom Jung Ah).
