JTBC unveils a teaser for its upcoming drama Shining.
Shining follows the journey of young people who once shared a world of their own as they become each other's source of trust and light, guiding each other's lives.
The teaser shows Yeon Tae Seo (Park Jin Young) and Mo Eun Ah (Kim Min Ju) in their youth at the age of nineteen. They are seen in the school library, riding a bicycle in their school uniforms down a rural road, and lying on the snow — glimpses of memories from the past.
However, it soon seems the two have left those joyful days behind and are passing through the lonely time after their separation. Mo Eun Ah's wistful gaze reflected in a car window and Yeon Tae Seo wiping away tears like a child evoke poignancy.
What follows are the bright moments of Yeon Tae Seo and Mo Eun Ah as they are seen running passionately.
As such, Shining foreshadows that Yeon Tae Seo and Mo Eun Ah — who were once the brightest presence in each other's lives — will meet again after a long, long period of longing. As Mo Eun A says, "I really wanted to see you at least once," curiosity grows over whether the two — who had still been carrying those days in their hearts — can become each other's light once again.
