Park Ju Hyun comes face-to-face with her supposedly dead father in 'Hunter with a Scalpel'

Hunter with a Scalpel has unveiled its main trailer.

Hunter with a Scalpel tells the story of a genius forensic doctor, Se Hyeon (Park Ju Hyun), who, while performing an autopsy, discovers evidence linking her father Jo Gyun (Park Yong Woo) — believed to have died 20 years ago — to a murder case, and sets out to catch him before the police do.

The trailer opens, giving a glimpse of young Se Hyeon tearfully singing a birthday song. Eerie scenes of objects stained with blood flash by. Her father, Jo Gyun, gently says, "Happy birthday, my one and only daughter." It then delivers a jolt as Se Hyeon says, "I was born the daughter of a psychopath."

The trailer then introduces the Violent Crimes Unit's Team Leader, Jung Jeong Hyeon (Kang Hoon), who begins a full-scale investigation into the "Tailor Serial Killer Case." 

Meanwhile, Se Hyeon, now a renowned forensic doctor, is thrown into turmoil as she discovers traces of Jo Gyun on a corpse and realizes that he has returned. Tension escalates as Jo Kyun appears to set a trap, telling his daughter, "You'll come to me on your own," seemingly trying to awaken something instinctual within her. Scenes of Se Hyeon teetering on the line that divides good and evil intensify intrigue. 

Meanwhile, Jeong Hyeon grows increasingly suspicious after discovering Se Hyun's blood-stained scalpel. He desperately pleads, "You're hiding something from me, aren't you? Please, tell me. You know what's going on, don't you, Chief?"

Towards the conclusion, Se Hyeon coldly says, "Let's have some fun. Just like old times, Dad." In response, Jo Gyun replies calmly, "Welcome home, daughter." 

With this, the trailer offers a gripping glimpse into a tension-filled plot, electrifying performances, and a chilling psychological battle between the father and daughter, heightening anticipation for the cinematic experience that awaits prospective viewers.
