The Reply 1988 cast and crew will reportedly go on an MT (team building) to commemorate their 10th anniversary.
On August 13, media outlets reported that the cast and crew of the popular K-drama Reply 1988 will celebrate their 10th anniversary with a team-building trip. According to these reports, the cast, together with director Shin Won Ho and writer Lee Woo Jung, is set to travel to Gangwon-do this October. Egg is Coming will produce the reunion program.
Egg is Coming responded to the reunion reports, stating, "It is true that we are discussing creating content to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Reply 1988, but no details have been finalized yet."
Upon news of the Reply 1988 reunion, attention immediately turned to whether the former couple, lead actors Lee Hye Ri and Ryu Jun Yeol, would also reunite for the event.
Lee Hye Ri's agency, Sublime, responded to the reunion and shared, "Lee Hye Ri will attend the possible Reply 1988 reunion."
Ryu Jun Yeol's agency has confirmed that the actor will not be able to join the Reply 1988 10th anniversary reunion. The agency shared scheduling conflicts with the filming of his new Netflix K-drama, The Rat, as the reason for his absence.
