Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
For the upcoming Reply 1988 reunion, it was announced that new soundtracks will be released.
On December 16, it was announced that the cast members would be featured in new, rearranged versions of the K-drama’s original soundtrack. According to reports, the new OST is set to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Reply 1988.
The first OST will feature the main lead, Park Bo Gum's solo. The track will be out on streaming platforms on December 19. It will be followed by the release of the two more OSTs on December 26. The first one will be performed by the mothers of the K-drama, while the other one will be sung by the main leads (kids of Ssangmundong).
Director Shin Won Ho, who created the Reply series, revealed, "This OST was prepared as a gift to express our gratitude to the fans for their continued love for the K-drama over the last decade."
The Reply 1988 reunion will premiere on December 19 at 8:40 PM KST. The special can also be viewed on the streaming platform, VIU.
The Reply 1988 10th anniversary special will be led by Girls Day's Lee Hye Ri, Go Kyung Pyo, Park Bo Gum, Lee Dong Hwi, Sung Dong Il, Lee Il Hwa, Ryu Hye Young, Choi Sung Won, Kim Sung Kyun, Ra Mi Ran, Ahn Jae Hong, Kim Sun Young, and Lee Min Ji. It was also revealed that actor Ryu Jun Yeol will participate in some of the scenes of the anniversary special.
The cast of Reply 1988 gathered for a special two-day, one-night retreat in Gangwon Province on October 12-13 to commemorate the K-drama's 10th anniversary.
The anniversary special is a two-day, one-night special celebration. The event was organized by Egg is Coming by director Na Young Seok.
