Just recently, tvN and Egg is Coming released the first teaser trailer of the Reply 1988 10th anniversary special. Girls Day's Lee Hye Ri, Go Kyung Pyo, Park Bo Gum, Lee Dong Hwi, Sung Dong Il, Lee Il Hwa, Ryu Hye Young, Choi Sung Won, Kim Sung Kyun, Ra Mi Ran, Ahn Jae Hong, Kim Sun Young, and Lee Min Ji were all seen in the teaser clip recreating the K-drama's iconic poster.
Despite not being featured in the poster recreation, Ryu Jun Yeol was spotted in the teaser alongside his Reply 1988 family, Kim Sung Kyun, Ra Mi Ran, and Ahn Jae Hong, fueling excitement for the anticipated reunion.
Previously, it was announced that Ryu Jun Yeol would not join the two-day, one-night special celebration due to scheduling conflicts. However, the production team clarified that the actor participated in some parts of the events to celebrate the milestone of the K-drama.
The anniversary special is a two-day, one-night special celebration. The event was organized by Egg is Coming by director Na Young Seok.
The reunion special, which will have a total of 3 episodes, will begin airing on December 19 at 8:40 PM KST.
Ryu Jun Yeol is currently busy filming for his upcoming K-drama The Rat with Sul Kyung Gu and Lee Chae Yu.
This year, the actor starred in the film Revelations alongside Shin Hyun Been, Shin Min Jae, Han Ji Hyun, Woo Kang Min, and Moon Joo Yeon.
