On September 17, the production team behind Channel A's upcoming Tuesday drama kiDnap GAME unveiled stills featuring actors Sakaguchi Kentaro and Lee Joon Gi.

kiDnap GAME centers on kidnapping cases that break out simultaneously across seven Asian cities — Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei, Singapore, Bangkok, Naha, and Manila — and follows characters who enter a life-or-death survival game to save someone they hold dear.

A Korean-Japanese-Hong Kong production, the drama stars acclaimed actors including Sakaguchi Kentaro, Lee Joon Gi, Ko Chia Yen, Stanley Yau, and Carrie Wong.

The released stills capture the moment when Tokyo detective Nīide Toshiro (Sakaguchi Kentaro) and genius doctor Han Ki Joo (Lee Joon Gi) meet as key participants in the kiDnap GAME, where only one person can return alive.

In the drama, Nīide Toshiro and Han Ki Joo are competitors who must eliminate each other to save someone precious to them, yet they are also pushed to the brink and forced to work together to uncover the truth behind the game. Anticipation is building for the fierce battle of wits the two men will wage as they move between wariness and suspicion and form an alliance.

The production team stated, "From their first scene together, Sakaguchi Kentaro and Lee Joon Gi dominated the set by creating a tense atmosphere through nothing more than their gazes. You can look forward to the perfect acting synergy the two actors create amid an extreme dilemma." They added, "Please look forward to the precarious relationship between the two men, whose dynamics as enemies or allies remain unclear, as well as their fierce struggle to survive."

kiDnap GAME premieres on October 6. It will be available to stream on Viu (select regions).
