Ji Sung launches a bold heist in first teaser for 'The Apartment Job'
Seo Kang Jun and Ahn Eun Jin are confirmed as the leads for the new KBS 2TV drama Love Other Than You (literal translation).
Love Other Than You is a realistic, relatable melodrama that tells the story of a couple entering their tenth year of relationship who begin to experience unexpected emotional changes within a bond that has long grown familiar.
They fill the space left by their fading passion with loyalty and trust as they struggle between breaking up and getting married and, in the process, come to reconsider the true nature of love.
In the drama, Seo Kang Joon plays Nam Goong Ho, an assistant manager on the TF team at Hoonmin Confectionery. Nam Goong Ho has a warm personality, with both sociability and humor, allowing him to quickly grow close to just about anyone. On the outside, he appears to be bright and stable, but because of his troublemaking mother, he has lived a difficult life since childhood. And each time, the person who stood by his side and cried even more bitterly than he did was his girlfriend, Lee Mi Do.
Ahn Eun Jin will play Lee Mi Do. Lee Mi Do was once a promising rookie director who drew global attention with her university graduation project. But after one project after another fell through, she gradually lost confidence and has now hit rock bottom.
Although the two have endured the deepest times of life together, it is precisely that familiarity that begins to shake their relationship. As they go through what might be called a "reflection period", the drama's core narrative will follow what decision they ultimately make, tracing the realistic emotional currents that unfold between breaking up and marriage.
The production team said, "Seo Kang Joon and Ahn Eun Jin have the ability to convey their characters' emotions with sincerity and naturally draw viewers into the story. Because this drama deals with an extremely realistic love story, we feel all the more reassured to have these two actors on board together."
They added, "We are confident that many viewers will be able to relate to it as if it were their own story, as the two actors will imbue real emotions and narrative depth into each moment of these two characters, wavering between familiar love and unfamiliar emotions — things that could happen to anyone."
Love Other Than You is scheduled to be released in the second half of this year and will reportedly stream on Amazon Prime Video.
