Kwon Sang Woo is confirmed for the cast of Study Group Season 2.
TVING confirmed on April 23 that Kwon Sang Woo will join its original series Study Group Season 2.
Study Group is a high-school-themed action comedy that follows Yun Ga Min (Hwang Min Hyun), who dreams of excelling academically but is only gifted in fighting. Enrolling in a notorious school, where bullies reign, he forms a study group and, along with his friends, engages in bloody fights, making a desperate effort to study and go to college.
In the new season, Kwon Sang Woo joins the cast as Jeon Young Ha, Yun Ga Min's uncle.
Jeon Young Ha is the one who taught Yun Ga Min forbidden techniques. Although he gets cut off by Ga Min's mother — his sister — after secretly coaching him without her knowledge, he is a warm, humane character who listens to Ga Min's concerns and remains by his side.
