'Teach You a Lesson' Kim Mu Yeol admits childcare is harder than work
New modern Chinese drama Love Has Fireworks has announced its premiere date for June 15.
The drama tells the story of investment banking elite Li Yifei, who, after a failed investment, falls from being a privileged "young master" to having to share a rental apartment with others. By chance, he meets Qian Fei, a Shanghai-based office worker struggling to make ends meet, who is reeling from the double blow of heartbreak and unemployment and decides to take in a tenant to ease the burden of her mortgage payments.

Investment banking elite Li Yi Fei (Tan Jian Ci) suffers a major setback after a failed investment and unexpectedly ends up sharing an apartment with Qian Fei (Wang Chu Ran), a young woman struggling in Shanghai after being hit by the double blow of heartbreak and unemployment. The two later cross paths again in the workplace, and as they navigate life's ups and downs together amid the warmth of everyday life, these two down-on-their-luck souls ultimately find their way.
Amid the ordinary rhythms of everyday life, the proud and somewhat arrogant investment banking elite Li Yi Fei gradually sheds his superficial glitz and comes to appreciate the genuine warmth and coldness of human relationships. Meanwhile, Qian Fei, a debt-ridden young woman trying to build a life in Shanghai, regains her confidence in the workplace and achieves personal growth.
From constantly refusing to give an inch at the beginning, the two eventually learn to support and heal one another through life's lowest moments.
