Zhang Ling He hailed as a 'Chinese superstar sweeping across France'
The TVING original variety show The Great Escape: The Story is returning for a new season.
On February 26, a TVING representative told Maeil Business Newspaper's Star Today, "The Great Escape: The Story has been confirmed for a new season. As of now, the cast and filming schedule are still undecided."
The Great Escape: The Story is an adventure variety program themed around escape rooms, where the cast works together to crack clues and complete elaborate, large-scale escape-room missions.
Directed by producer Jung Jong Yeon, it launched its first season, The Great Escape, in 2018 and aired on tvN through its fourth season (2021), building a dedicated fan base.
After moving to TVING, the program changed its title to The Great Escape: The Story, and PD Lee Woo Hyung took over directing, unveiling Season 5 last year. Kang Ho Dong, Kim Dong Hyun, and Yoo Byung Jae returned, while Go Kyung Pyo, Byun Baek Hyun, and Yeo Jin Goo joined as new "escapees".
Since Yeo Jin Goo enlisted last year, he won't be able to appear in Season 6. Attention is also turning to the new cast lineup.
