Im Ji Yeon in talks to star in 'The Prince and the Pauper' reimagining
New mystery thriller Bloody Flower has confirmed its release on Disney+ on February 4.
Bloody Flower is a mystery thriller that follows a serial killer who, after murdering people in the name of human testing, claims to possess the ability to cure all incurable diseases; and the people aiming to punish and save him for motives of their own.
Bloody Flower centres on the question: "What if the motive behind a serial killer's murders was to save countless lives by developing a cure for incurable diseases?"
As events spiral into a new phase amid taut tension and confrontation, the story brings together Lee Woo Gyeom (Ryeo Un), a serial killer with genius medical skills capable of saving the world; Park Han Jun (Sung Dong Il), a lawyer who must keep the killer alive to save his ailing daughter; and Cha Yeon (Keum Sae Rok), a prosecutor from a wealthy family who must prove her worth through a capital punishment trial.

The truth of the miraculous treatment that blossoms from the hands of a murderer is set to plunge the judiciary and the public into unprecedented turmoil.
Above all, Bloody Flower poses a sensational question: "Is it justice to extend a murderer’s life in order to save the many?" Through the paradoxical situation in which an evildoer who deserves death becomes someone else's only lifeline to survival, the series asks viewers, "What judgment would you make?"
Bloody Flower is coming February 4, on Disney+.
