Bai Lu wins defamation and reputation rights lawsuits against netizens
The upcoming Chinese suspense fantasy drama The Infinite 10 Days officially announced the commencement of filming at Qingdao Oriental Movie Metropolis on April 10.
The cast lineup has also been announced: Xiao Zhan takes the lead as the male protagonist Qi Xia. Joining him is a strong ensemble including Wei Da Xun, Hu Xian Xu, Aarif Rahman, Li Ze Feng, and Vanda Margraf.
It is reported that the drama is adapted from the novel "Ten Day Ultimatum" (十日终焉) by the author Sha Chong Dui Dui Yuan, and tells the story of a group of ordinary people from different backgrounds suddenly find themselves in the "End Land", experiencing a cycle of life and death every ten days, with participants losing their memories after each cycle.
After news of the novel's adaptation broke, Chinese netizens paid close attention to the casting. Xiao Zhan comes as Qi Xia, Wei Da Xun as Chu Tian Qiu, and Hu Xian Xu as Chen Jun Nan.
The novel includes more than 40 key characters. None of them is purely good or evil; rather, each carries his/her own unspoken pain, faults, and desires.
Reportedly, the drama is planned to be released in a seasonal format, with the first season consisting of 24 episodes. Director Xu Hong Yu is helming. The drama's filming period is reportedly 100 days.
