Netflix ropes in Lee Jae Wook, Go Min Si, Kim Min Ha, and Lee Hee Joon for a horror K-drama
The new wuxia drama Love and Sword is premiering on February 26.
The drama is adapted from Shen Cang Mei's novel and tells the story of the drama-loving girl Fang Yi who accidentally enters the world of martial arts. She transforms into the bold and skilled swordswoman Rong Shu Kuang and joins hands with the domineering martial artist Yan Shao to uncover the mysteries of both the past and present.
Ordinary urban girl Fang Yi accidentally falls into the world of martial arts. She initially thought she would begin a legendary journey of vengeance and thrilling adventures. However, she inhabits the body of Rong Shu Kuang, the once-renowned swordswoman whose martial arts skills have been completely ruined.
In a critical moment, the cold and ruthless bounty hunter Yan Shao arrives to rescue her, sending her to the Yu Chi Manor, where conspiracies and undercurrents swirl. Inside the manor, Rong Shu Kuang tears apart a scheming woman and kicks a false hero, only to discover that behind the plot against her lies a complex and unpredictable situation, along with an unknown, tender side of the martial world.
The C-drama stars Xuan Lu as Rong Shu Kuang and Gao Wei Guang as Yan Shao.
Jia Nai, Martin Zhang, Yuan Yu Xuan, and Ren Hao also come in supporting roles.
Love and Sword is premiering on February 26 and will be streaming on WeTV and Viki.
