Disney+ AI mystery variety show 'Murder Club' gears up for release
tvN's upcoming drama Spooky in Love has unveiled a preview ahead of its premiere.
Spooky in Love is an occult rom-com that follows hotel heiress Cheon Yeo Ri (Park Eun Bin), who can see ghosts, and passionate prosecutor Ma Kang Wook (Yang Se Jong) as they team up to solve cases.
The latest preview opens with Ma Kang Wook (Yang Se Jong) arriving at Yeo Ri's luxurious hotel. As he steps out of his car, he pauses to admire the impressive exterior of the upscale property.
The scene then rewinds to reveal what brought the prosecutor there in the first place. While investigating a case, Ma Kang Wook is told that among the three people who purchased a particular pair of sneakers he is tracking, one moved to the United States last month, another has been serving time in prison for fraud for the past six months, and the final buyer is "a bit..."
Before the explanation is finished, a colleague remarks that there is probably no point in meeting the last person. Ma Kang Wook soon discovers that the individual is none other than Cheon Yeo Ri, the reclusive chaebol heiress and CEO of the nation's leading luxury hotel. Because she avoids the public eye, even most hotel staff have never seen her, with only a handful of senior executives knowing her appearance. He is also warned that attempting to see her without a warrant will likely end with him being denied entry before he even gets the chance to meet her.
