ZE: A's Yim Si Wan and actress Seol In Ah are reportedly pairing up for a new webtoon-based K-drama.
On October 24, media outlets reported that Yim Si Wan and Seol In Ah have been chosen to lead the upcoming K-drama Why Don't You Know I'm a Woman? According to them, the two actors are positively considering to star in the series.
Why Don't You Know I'm a Woman? is a romantic comedy K-drama that will showcase the story of a conglomerate heir and his new secretary, a former special forces officer who is now working undercover. The heir is a suspect in the murder of his previous female secretary, and the new secretary disguises herself as a man to become his personal secretary and bodyguard. The story will be based on the hit web novel and webtoon of the same name.
According to reports, the upcoming K-drama will exclusively air on tvN and will premiere sometime next year.
Yim Si Wan will reportedly portray the role of Yoon I Joon. He is one of the top conglomerates in Korea that has become a suspect in the murder of his female secretary. If Yim Si Wan confirms his casting, this will be his comeback to the romantic comedy genre after six years. His last rom-com project was the 2020 series Run On. This will also be his follow-up K-drama after the hit Netflix series Squid Game Season 3.
Seol In Ah, on the other hand, will reportedly portray the role of Kang Jae Hee, a former special forces officer who disguises herself as a man to work undercover as Yoon I Joon's male bodyguard. This will also possibly be Seol In Ah's return to rom-com since the 2022 hit K-drama Business Proposal.
