Love's Ambition, starring Zhao Lusi and William Chan, is sweeping popularity charts in China.
According to the latest data from Kuyun Digital Entertainment, the series achieved a cumulative cross-platform weekly viewership of 592 million, while its on-demand weekly viewership reached 565 million. It also set records, with single-day viewership repeatedly surpassing 100 million and an average per-episode viewership exceeding 30 million. Within four days of its premiere, the series's heat score on Tencent Video surpassed 30,000, peaking at 32,197, breaking the popularity record for urban dramas.
Zhao Lusi, who plays the female lead Xu Yan, earned a character popularity score of 17,755, topping the character popularity chart. William Chan, playing the male lead Shen Hao Ming, achieved a popularity score of 17,174, ranking third on the chart.
The C-drama is also trending on Netflix in Taiwan and on Viki in the United States (FlixPatrol).
Love's Ambition revolves around the sham marriages and the predicaments of urban elites.
