On November 8, a day before her birthday, Zhao Lusi held a concert in her hometown, Chengdu.
Returning to the stage after a year, Zhao Lusi expressed heartfelt gratitude to her fans for their unwavering support, to her family and friends for standing by her through difficult times.
The actress confessed, "Two months ago, I thought I wouldn't be an actress anymore." In the audience, her mentor Li Wei — who signed her — came to show support, and Zhao Lusi expressed her gratitude on stage, saying, "Eight years ago, he was the one who signed me."

She also specially mentioned, "I'm grateful for the establishment of my new studio."
Zhao Lusi's studio made its first post in months, officially announcing her return and the start of a new chapter in her career. The studio's official Weibo account has also removed the former agency YinheKuyu Media's (KU/Galaxy Cool Entertainment) logo from its profile.

Previously, after publicly calling out her management company for neglect and mistreatment, and receiving no response, Zhao Lusi took to the internet and published a detailed statement accusing YinheKuyu Media. The fallout with her agency sparked quite a controversy. In the days that followed, the actress began livestreaming frequently, engaging in conversations with fans online. Zhao also officially deactivated her Weibo account on August 19, citing negativity on the platform.
The actress was last seen in Love's Ambition, alongside William Chan, where she played Xu Yan.
The series revolves around the sham marriages and the predicaments of urban elites. It follows Xu Yan (Zhao Lusi), who was raised by her grandmother and harbors emotional estrangement from her parents. By relying on her status as a host and a fabricated background, she marries Shen Haoming (William Chan), a man in control of everything. After experiencing the collapse of their marriage and setbacks in her career, the two tear off their masks, draw close to each other again, and embark on a journey of rediscovering themselves.
