The mother of Choi Hwa Yeon who was murdered in episode 1, is hospitalized after the shock of her daughter’s death. Song Ha Yeong visits her, comforting her with a handkerchief. In episode 11, she reappears as a hospital volunteer, where Ha Yeong is recovering from a traffic accident. She returns the handkerchief with a heartfelt lunchbox, thanking him and asking him to help others, inspiring him to continue his work in criminal profiling.
