After her marriage, Yeong Sin lost her husband in a car accident, but gained Ha Yeong on the same day. Despite the hardships of raising Ha Yeong alone, she never blamed her late husband. She often missed him and regretted that he couldn’t see how beautifully Ha Yeong grew up.
When Ha Yeong expressed his desire to become a police officer, Yeong Sin worried about the loneliness and pain it might bring him. However, she understood it was his calling and couldn't oppose his decision.
