Seon Tae Hyeong is a high-school–educated street photographer and assistant whose tiny 215-square-feet officetel, filled with high-end furniture and modern objects, reflects his firm taste and solid skills despite low pay and constant bossing around. Cheerful on the surface, he hides the real reason he chose photography: a broken promise from his older brother, who left him at an orphanage after giving him a camera and saying he would return. Though he claims he believes in neither people nor family, Tae Hyeong carries a quiet longing beneath his cool exterior and finds his resolve slowly wavering as responsibility, care, and unfamiliar emotions begin to creep into his life.
