Song Ha Ran is the lead designer of Team 1 and the senior designer at Nana Atelier, the country’s top high-end fashion brand. The eldest of three sisters, she lives with her maternal grandmother, Nana, and her two younger sisters, Ha Yeong and Ha Dam. Known as the face of the brand, Ha Ran is a cold, strictly professional leader who cuts out unnecessary communication and keeps a measured emotional distance from her team, firm and controlled rather than intimidating. She avoids personal conversation, never reveals her emotions, and lets no one get close. To keep a minimal but absolute barrier between herself and others, her office is fitted with smart glass, and at home she retreats to the loft attached to her room, spending most of her time alone, convinced that solitude is the surest way to ensure nothing happens and no one becomes special.
