Crash Landing on You

사랑의 불시착 ‧ Drama ‧ 2019 - 2020

i will write as i remember trying to be chronological, i am so touched by his kind gestures. he's amazing. him getting her all the whimsy stuff she asks for, be it shampoo, shower gel, candles, then a scented candle :') (oh my that finding each other scene...), coffee, cooking for her.... him not leaving her alone in that ship because he feels it can be unsafe, him having an extra photo of her for himself, him not letting her getting taken away from another person and undoing that person's unwanted contacts (the elevator scene), him making a strategy to ensure her safety when they leave for the airport, him giving it all out to protect her, him crossing the border under extremely harsh conditions to ensure her safety and saves her from dangers, him (over)caring for her when she's post-operational in the hospital... him knowing she struggled with depression, leaving scheduled texts and notes as much as he can so she can feel his companionship.... him preparing her a healthy kitchen and recipes, him even lying for her favor, him not leaving her side for days until she wakes up when she's hospitalized... him again crossing the border to hug her back... and him doing his best to meet her again.

please add anything else you have in your mind...

It's always the little things that tells who a man is. It shows he's thinking of you and holds you in kind regard, wants to do something for you that will make you smile and your day a little better. I felt like I spotted the moment that showed he fell for her when she gave out the prizes to the guys and the look on his face when she gave the "most handsome award" to one of the other guys. I finished the show a week ago (Netflix finally had it in English) and as I grind my coffee I thought of how what he did was so much more work yet it showed his feelings for her. I think this show touches everyone because this is what men are supposed to do. In our belief system (in the west), men are to cherish the woman he loves and treat her like she is a priceless & precious vessel. Men were built for protecting women. He showed his love every single time he dropped what he was doing to (often literally) run to be by her side. When a man like this actually says, "I love you", you know he really means it because he's already showed it in so many little ways.
