These posts started a conversation that made me realize that it has been so long since Winner is King was announced that there's a lot of confusion and rumors about the production, and other associated things.  So, I'm creating this topic to dig into the archaeology of the drama, and hopefully present an objective record, from first person or primary sources.  So if you have any such information, please post it, preferably with links.

Alternatively, post your version of events, and we can discuss it and hunt down info and links.  So, this could also serve as a place to dispel rumors or urban legends about the production.
