So, I’ve been watching 6 episodes so far and I keep hearing these classical pieces that I kind of recognize, but I’m not sure if I’m guessing right… Anyone else get this "wait a minute, I know this!" moment? 😆

Here’s what I think I spotted:

EP 1:

  • 22:26 – Vivaldi 4 Seasons Winter ❄️ (I think??)

  • 25:00 – Bizet Carmen Habanera💃

EP 3:

  • 2:40 – Vivaldi 4 Seasons Winter again? 🎻

  • 10:19 – Bach Air on the G String 🎶

  • 28:19 – Bach Air on the G String (again??)

EP 5:

  • 34:20 – Korsakov Flight of the Bumblebee 🐝

EP 6:

  • 18:45 – Bizet Carmen Habanera (again?) 🎶

What tunes did you spot? 😄

I knew I've heard those tunes before.  I was sure it was something Italian and or German.

Yep, you're right, that's Vivaldi's Winter. Ep3 28:30 is definitely an adagio, but I think it might be one of the Brandenburg variations. You'd need a real musician to say for sure, though. Personally, I'm waiting for the inevitable Grieg (Hall of the Mountain King), Rossini (William Tell Overture), or Paganini (Caprice No. 24).

Good guess. There is also Bizet, a french composer.

Yep, you're right, that's one of the more famous passages from Vivaldi's Winter. Also often heard in trailers for Serious and Dramatic Oscar-Hopeful movies, usually related to political or business corruption. (That makes hearing it here even funnier to me, but I may be alone in that.)

Haha yes! I think that’s exactly what makes it funnier — the FL talks in such a modern, sassy way, and then they drop this super dramatic classical music on top of it.
