Tbh, Hidden Love (Duan Jiaxu and Sang Zhi's story) was more like the puppy love a while The First Frost (Sang Yan and Wen Yifan's story) has more mixed emotion like there is happiness, sadness, anger, betrayal and also constant mutual love hidden for a long time. I also love the portrayal of the characters and they also seem similar to manhua especially Sang Yan and Bai Jing Ting. 

I also love Bai Jing Ting  a lot I may not watched a lot of his dramas but I love his characters from the drama I watched of his like the New Life Begins, Reset and The First Frost. His smirk is too charming and his deep voice Mashaallah. 😍 

I really felt Yifan's trouble of emotions especially at ep 30 when she talks to her mother. I could see how she felt betrayed by her own mother who had an affair when her husband was still alive, moved on and remarried right  after      her husband died, never cared when she needed her the most instead tossed her around their relatives house, didn't stay with her after the incident with that uncle Che. Zhang RuoNan portrayed Yifan/Shuang Jiang commendable.
