DISCLAIMER: I HAVEN’T READ THE WEBTOON, SO THIS IS JUST HOW I’M INTERPRETING THE DRAMA SO FAR.

Alright, so after watching up until ep 2, here’s where I’m at:

Daon’s been crushing on Jaemin for a while, Jaemin and Suhyeon are exes, and it seems like Daon and Suhyeon have some past too (even though it hasn’t been outright said, but it’s kinda obvious). Meanwhile, Seonghyeon is already down bad for Daon, so yeah… it’s a mess.

But honestly, I’m starting to think Jaemin might be the most manipulative one here (I could be wrong, but that’s just how it looks to me right now).  And there’s a good reason behind this too. Like, yeah, we saw Suhyeon beating up some guy in a flashback, but we don’t know the full context of that, so I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt (for now). Jaemin, on the other hand, feels like he’s just stringing Daon along. I don’t even think he really likes him—he’s still into Suhyeon. But since he knows Suhyeon still has feelings for Daon, he’s playing mind games and sending Daon all these mixed signals. Again, this is just my take based on what we’ve been shown so far.

What do you guys think? Am I overthinking, or does this make sense?

ALSO! IF YOU’VE READ THE WEBTOON, PLEASE DON’T SPOIL OR CORRECT ME. I’M JUST GOING OFF WHAT THE DRAMA HAS SHOWN SO FAR.

You are definitely not overthinking! I was thinking that too. Jaemin seemed super kind at the start of the first episode. But now with the second one it seems like that might just be some sort of act to keep Daon around maybe? He is giving wolf in sheeps clothing vibes. The way he is acting towards Daon, knowing he likes him, is probably making it super hard for Daon to move on because it always feels like he is about to give him a chance or smth. I am really interested in what the relationship of Daon and Suhyeon is, because in the flash back at the end of the second episode they seemed pretty close. I hope we get some info on them in the next episode. Rn I am just cheering for Seonghyeon, he seems to be the only non-toxic guy for Daon in the show atm!

thing is there everyone has exactly one romantic interest and relationship except for 1 person out of the 4 who has many romantic relationships - physical and emotional intimacy both

I read the Manga, don't know if i can watch the drama. It was just so toxic and annoying for me.

OMGGGGG WAITT what you wrote last makes a lot of sense, that jaemin actually loves suhyeon and not daon, but he expresses those feelings to him so that daon will continue to love him so that suhyeon and him can't be together... but still Daon shall never like suhyeon because in the past he still was loving only Jaemin so I think there must be more to this love triangle.. Jaemin literally created himself a love triangle

Um.. so, yeah.. that really took a turn?! guess we were totally wrong, but still doesn’t change the fact that Jaemin’s a total piece of shit, and Suhyeon deserves the biggest fucking apology from everyone who doubted him.

After this week's eps, I would say Suhyeon isn't necessarily "toxic", but.. maybe borderline toxic? Idk man all I know is dude’s been screwed over for so long, I honestly feel sorry for him.

I totally agree, since we now know more of their backstory, some of his behaviour is more comprehensible(?) than before. I am still super split on my opinion on him but he surely doesn't seem to be straight up toxic anymore, like you said, maybe something like borderline toxic. Jaemin on the other hand is definitely a red flag, like, there is no coming back from what he did

Honestly, looking back, everything makes so much more sense now. The way Jae Min manipulated the whole situation from the start—yeah, we called it. But actually seeing how far he was willing to go just to keep control? Insane. And Su Hyeon? Man, if anyone deserved a full-circle moment, it was him. I still wouldn’t call him completely innocent, but damn, he’s been through hell and back. He deserved that ending.

Da On, though… I don’t even know what to say. Watching his journey was frustrating at times, but at least he finally saw the truth. And Seong Hyeon? My guy, my king. The only one who wasn’t a walking red flag. I just hope he’s happy, wherever he ended up.

This drama was a rollercoaster of emotions, but one thing’s for sure: Jaemin will go down as one of the most manipulative characters in BL history. No redemption, no excuses—just straight-up toxic.

What did you guys think? Satisfied with how it all ended? Or do you wish things had played out differently?
