No seriously, this is like the first drama where I did not root for the side couple even a little bit, which is saying something cause there were just soooo many of them 😭
Legitimately, either every relationship was bad or ended up in a bad place and created the kind of dumpster fire that was the final run.
I mean, the strange age gap workplace romance with a girl who looks 20 and acts like a preteen with a guy with wayyy more mileage and experience over her ?? Like c'mon the answer was right there, some couples divorce out of lack of communication but some people get back together when they restart communicating, as both older, successful heads of their own businesses with a deep understanding of each other the divorced couple getting back was a better end here.
The married friend couple, good GOD, just because he sees the love in her relationship does that mean it's enough ? I mean this goes right against the emphasis on speaking clearly and not misleading your partner that Bora was talking about, he never spoke hell he didn't even SHOW any love or love lost between them and they end up getting better because the friend wife is more understanding now, for fucks sake she gave him the benefit of the doubt every episode to the point it made me want to pull my hair out. This is what makes them a compatible couple 🙄
And oh my GOD, don't get me started on that pro-birth, let's increase our maternity rates ass PSA couple ending with the best duo. I really liked the multiple generations of couples and the kind of strange yet naive dynamic they brought despite the borderinf on creep behaviour but then these kids and they literally behave like them too, suddenly have a baby and want to go through with it even though they're doing part time, with one living off her sister and the other in a freaking basement!! Like this couple has no future plans, no no experience of the worldly kind only getting by with good will of people they know or come to know (Bomi with her sister's network getting her that part time and the guy with the Yang clan relation). I'm not the one to beat bratty sisters down being the younger one myself but sweet lord girl you cost your sister 40 million won of HER savings, get a hold of yourself and pay her back before you get kids and add to her burdens. This lady crushed her pride to keep you in the city and housed. And if not that then atleast be thankful and trusting of her from then on having seen how she was understanding of you.
The main couple was my favourite and while they wavered on landing the side character couples were straight weird. The exs were strange too although the Yuri couple was better off with their whole thing wrapped and moving the hell away from this message. Smh
