I'm currently watching episode 26 of The Princess Royal, and I have to say - it left me emotionally rattled. The moment where PWX has his emotional breakdown after LPY deliberately invites those men over to tarnish her own image was intense, but what followed was honestly really difficult to watch.

The scene where PWX forcefully kisses LPY after pushing her down felt so jarring and out of place. Watching her struggle to break free while he overpowered her was incredibly disturbing and deeply uncomfortable. I get that PWX has always been portrayed as jealous and possessive, but this crossed a line, it felt like he lost all control and became almost animalistic in his desperation. I honestly didn’t expect him to hurt her like that, even in an emotional spiral.

Though they had a conversation afterward and seemed to resolve things on the surface, that one scene left a really bitter aftertaste for me. It was so out of character and unsettling.

What did you all think about this scene? Did it feel off to you too?

No. This scene didn't feel weird. If you watched, she first mentioned she want a divorce to save him his career. He didnt know what she was doing for him. I don't know if you are aware, he loved her for 20 years. I don't think he want to be traumatized by separation again.

She hurt him where it hurts the most, of course, he is going to be insane for a few minutes. If you ever had a fight with a friend/spouse/family, you might say something hurtful just to be spiteful. Later you regret saying spiteful things. I.e. like teenages saying "I wish I was never been born" to a parent or some teenages throws expensive electronics because they are mad at their parents but later come to regret.

With that case, he just want her to understand his love language and his love for her. This is such a small scene over to the hate comments. Based on all the hate comments, I literally thought this scene is where he forced her to do the unthinkable on a boat. No he just kissed her and she kicked and scratch him.
