A brief summary of the first 10 chapters of the novel:

After the fall of the An Xia kingdom, Feng Miao Jun is adopted by the Feng family. At just 11 years old, her stepfather dies of the plague. Later, when Feng Miao Jun sees the elderly servant speaking badly about the An Xia kingdom, she gets angry, pushes the old woman, and curses at her. Later, Miao Jun, angered, goes out for a walk along the riverside. She becomes dizzy, and somehow, when she wakes up, she finds herself at the bottom of a river deep in the forest.

Deep in the river, she sees a fish that resembles a dragon. Just then, a man appears and kills the dragon-like fish. He takes the life pearl of the Ao fish, which has practiced cultivation for 400 years, and leaves. Feng Miao Jun witnesses everything silently from atop a tree. Moments later, the spirit of the Ao fish approaches her and tells her to go down and retrieve the other life pearl.

Because the Ao fish had practiced cultivation for 400 years, it possessed two life pearls. If someone who uses one of these pearls dies, the other person will immediately die as well. Seeking revenge against Yun Ya, the Ao fish gives the second life pearl to Feng Miao Jun. If Miao Jun were to die, Yun Ya would also perish. But Miao Jun acts cleverly—she takes the pearl but doesn't swallow it until she emerges from the river. After leaving the water, she swallows the pearl and returns to her family.

Feng Miao Jun begins to feel afraid, thinking that Yun Ya might find out about the incident and imprison her to prevent anything from happening to her.

Reading your summary is better than reading novel, i get bored while read some parts.

The message conveyed in the 10-episode part of the novel was exactly what I wrote above. But the novel includes too many irrelevant things. Just a waste of time 😄

A brief summary of chapters 10 to 20 of the novel:

After emerging from the river, Feng Miao Jun sends a message to her guard Peng Bai via birds, asking him to come to the forest and retrieve her. Once she returns home, Miao Jun tells Peng about her fight with the elderly servant Madam Wang and mentions that she revealed to Madam Wang that she was from the Anxia Kingdom. Upon hearing this, Peng Bai decides to silence Madam Wang and secretly kills her without Miao Jun’s knowledge.

Taking advantage of her mother’s death, Zhao Daozhao blackmailed Feng Miao Jun’s stepmother, Madam Xu, several times and extorted money from her. A few days later, he went to the yamen and accused Feng Miao Jun of murdering her mother. While the investigation was being conducted in front of all the witnesses, Yun Ya and the Prince of Wei, Xiao Yan, unexpectedly arrived at the courthouse. At that moment, Feng Miao Jun was shocked with fear. Yun Ya and Xiao Yan sat in the hall to observe the proceedings. When the inquiry failed to yield results, Xiao Yan suggested using a spirit-summoning technique and glanced at Yun Ya, implying that he could perform it. Upon hearing this, Miao Jun was terrified.If Madam Wang’s death turned out to be connected to the Feng family, Yun Ya could have suspected that Miao Jun had been at the river that day.

Using a spirit-summoning technique, Yun Ya brings back the soul of the deceased elderly servant Madam Wang. Shockingly, she points to her own son, Zhao Dazhao, and declares that he was the one who killed her. The truth was that Feng Miao Jun’s guard, Peng Bai, was extremely clever. He had manipulated Zhao Dazhao into an unconscious state and used him to carry out Madam Wang’s murder. After the trial ends, Yun Ya approaches Feng Miao Jun and asks her where she was on the day Madam Wang died. Miao Jun realizes that Yun Ya is suspicious of her. Therefore, she lies and leaves the yamen together with her stepmother, Madam Xu.

Mo Ti Zhun, the Imperial Tutor of the Jin Kingdom, had established a formation in the village where Miao Jun resided. This formation was designed to allow quick access to the Dragon Rise Pool. Mo Ti Zhun’s goal, like Yun Ya’s, was to obtain the life pearl of the Ao fish. Mo Ti Zhun flies into a rage. He becomes suspicious of Miao Jun and comes after her seeking revenge. The Imperial Tutor is extremely ruthless. He breaks the arm of Feng Miao Jun’s guard, Peng Bai, and threatens Miao Jun. His goal is to find out whether she was the one who activated the formation.
