So i dont have anywhere to post this review about rule number 3 book, so i'm gonna say my thoughts here if anyones interested to read. I initially thought this would be toxic like how big jane's book was, but this started off so good. Jamie as a character was literally the best and nice person, he was understanding, mature and overall a very great person and so was Tanjai. But what happened to Jamie, with how he was cheated upon IN THE WORST WAY possible by someone he loved sm, it took a great toll on his mental health and overall personality. I do think he rushed suddenly with Tanjai, knowing that Tanjai is in love with Jamie, and Jamie just needed a safe zone. They had a talk about this, but their relationship was genuinely really good, both treated each other with kindness and respect. But again, a relationship without a status had seeds of doubt and then because of this situationship obv Tanjai suffered sm, then also due to some events with Jamie being toxic and not committing and even when he went to his ex who told him shes doing suicide, i mean i do get it about a person not wanting the other person die, he shouldve listened to Tanjai when he begged him not to go. I really hated how Tanjai suffered towards the end, thankfully he was very smart and just left Jamie. But tbh i wanted groveling. A proper groveling. Here he just made tons of videos begging for Tanjai to come back but he never actively pursued or yk followed or did other stuff thats supposed to be. Instead he got in a near fatal accident and Tanjai just came back because he loved him DUH. But wheres the groveling and all. Ngl, awesome rs and THE HEALTHIEST relationship from the start, but they kinda ruined the ending. If there was a groveling, i wouldve understood. Both characters are very complex i do get it but eh i didnt like the end how he came back easily, also, Hector and Tanjai couldve been THE PERFECT couple, he was literally sooooooo goooooood omg, i wanted him to ditch Jamie after that lmao. But tbh, Jamie was genuinely nice and kind but yep, had his toxic non committing moments.
