Yes, Wanwan said he was poisoned before, and  it was likely the cause of his blindness and not the blizzard, so Yuening should not feel guilty.

Dude, we can’t have any more guys especially at the end of the show being interested in our FL. Maybe it’s more like Dr. to patient type of thing. And I’m wondering how he floats in the general aspect of things. Because he got introduced so late in the show you really don’t know what his Game is. Blind or not blind he definitely has some issues with some people. We just don’t know if he’s team good or team evil. Regardless of what the book says we already have deviated enough from that book to leave things alone.

I completely agree with that. I think that he’s probably also part of that fact of cult, including the minister. Killing people for the heck of it is very cultlike.

I think it’s to stir things up to bring his own case to light, exacting his own revenge. Kind of like what Cai He the maid did.

Probably though there are people saying that he’s responsible for manipulating that minister to kill FL‘s parents so he’s not exactly free and clear, but we will have to see how it goes. There is a fake emperor to deal with which is like the biggest problem, but if this dude is also a victim of the fake emperor, then we’re really not sure where that leaves us.
