Thinking about watching Eternal Brotherhood Season 2 but haven't seen Season 1?
Do you really need to watch Season 1 first?
Honestly… no, you don’t. 🙅♂️
Season 2 kicks off with a neat recap of Season 1, so you won’t be totally lost jumping right in.
The story is pretty straightforward (and kinda fun): it’s about three sworn brothers from Zichuan (紫川, aka Purple River) — Zichuan Xiu, the silly but lovable one; Di Lin, the ruthless badass; and Si Yi Lin, the hopeless romantic. Their kingdom, Zichuan, is at war with Sairong. Over in Sairong, the king’s two utterly useless sons are fighting for the throne and also trying to off their sister, Princess Kadan.
Meanwhile, there’s a sweet romance brewing between Princess Kadan and our hero Si Yi Lin. And don’t forget the wildcard—Princess Ning from Zichuan, who’s basically the ADARC (Annoyingly Dumb and Ridiculously Childish) of the story, hopelessly crushing on the male lead, Zichuan Xiu.
Last but not least, Yang Minghua, once a trusted member of the brotherhood consisting of Di Lin, Si Yilin, and Zichuan Xiu, betrays them in Season 1 and becomes the ultimate antagonist.
Oh, and expect a sprinkle of sci-fi gadgets and fantasy superpowers for good measure.
