Thanks. 🙏❤️

Good job! 👍🏼

Yesha identity spoiler

Yes I am also thinking Yesha is Beiming's brother. That explains the similar voice and his competitiveness with his brother. They may or may not be twins, they could just be brothers. And the more interesting question, is Tong Shuang 童双 Yesha? 童 (Tóng) – is child or "young boy. 双 (Shuāng) – pair, double, or twin. I noticed the name  long ago, but was misdirected by TS's backstory  that suggests he was too young to be a Haiya survivor.

Wait. Wasn't yesha an org? People suffering from that border village tragedy??? I haven't watched this show form ep 9. I will pick upfrom tomorrow

General Zhong was carrying two kids. One of them was baby. Bei Ming is the big brother (大哥)and the baby might be Tong Shuang. But Xue Man called him 哥哥。He is supposed to be elder than Bei Ming.

I think Yesha as the mastermind behind all this is one person.  But it may be a Spartacus thing, where any survivor of the Haiya (which I didn't realize until today meant Sea Cliffs), could take up the mantle of the cause.

I haven't seen the characters for Yesha.  Does anyone know if it means something, also?

夜 means night. 煞 means attack , slay or damage. English translation is Dark Fury but I didn’t find anything special about his name.

Ah, thank you!

Using Google Translate, that second character can also mean evil spirit, which would also fit Yesha.

It may have come from 夜叉 (Yaksha)  or nocturnal demons or ghosts from the Buddhist myths.  For the drama they may have replaced the 叉 character with  煞 Shà,  to avoid distorting Buddhist mythology. And the 煞 Shà  makes sense as it often denotes "evil spirit," "baleful influence," or "malignant force,"  in Daoist and folklore to denote harmful supernatural entities (e.g., 凶煞, 煞气).

Ah, cool!

The translation of Fury also works very well, if you go with the more archaic, mythological definition, i.e. a Fury -- a spirit of punishment.  Though, interestingly, it is usually female and often comes in threes, the Furies.

Yes, I had no issue with the translation. I think that is the word the used when they translated  the Night Fury dragon for Chinese audiences.

Night Fury sounded a little comic book / pulp to me.  But understanding the Chinese characters, makes me understand what they were going for in the translation.

I saw dragon picture in posters and the calendar too so I assume that it symbolizes Yesha.  Is there any character who is related to dragon name in series ?
